HITCH APP
PASSION PROJECT
INSPIRATION
During my junior year, I thought that my school, SCAD, should have a way to connect artists together to collaborate on their projects. There are multiple times that my friends and I could have used an app like Hitch, but there’s nothing like it out there. Even in the real world, I saw photographers needing models, videographers needing actors/actresses, painters/illustrators needing someone to pose for them, rappers needing background dancers, and artists needing other artists to collaborate with.

PLANNING
96.3% of creatives surveyed, including SCAD students said they would use an app like Hitch for their projects, that is when I decided that I wanted to design an interface for Hitch, as well as a prototype.
During the design process, I worked with traditional concepting materials to design the branding and create the app page layouts, then finalized the pages as a storyboard Adobe Illustrator. From there, I created a walkthrough prototype displaying interactive page elements using Adobe XD, then presented video demo to other SCAD students in a slide deck.
